Ergonomic Assessments

Ergonomic Assessments performed by Health on the Move concentrate on human capabilities in relationship to their work demands. Information derived from the assessment contributes to the design and evaluation of tasks, jobs, products, environments and systems in order to make them compatible with the needs, abilities and limitations of people and their workplace.

Commonly Ergonomic Assessments are designed to assess an individual's workstation ensuring it is set up in a way that will cause minimum risk to the employee's health and wellbeing. An Ergonomic Assessment may also be used to enable an employee to use their workstation efficiently and effectively.

Health on the Move can also provide assistance or facilitate the trial or provision of ergonomic equipment e.g. a laptop stand.
