Manual Handling

Manual handling of loads (MHL) is any of the following activities carried out by one or more workers: lifting, holding, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving of a load. The load itself can be animate (a person or animal) or inanimate (an object). Health on the Move specialises in conducting training to educate and train groups & individuals to correctly handle loads, understand the personal and organisational liability & the prescription of required alterations to the workplace or work practices.
